 Wound Tight Charters is based in Chesapeake Beach, Md, and is operated by me, Capt. Shawn Gibson.

I manage this site and try to keep all information up to date. During the fishing season you will find pictures and video from recent Chesapeake Bay fishing charters as well as fishing reports to let you know what

species of fish are being caught and where.

 NEW FOR 2009:

Chesapeake Bay Fishing Charter trips will be run from Herrington Harbour Marina South in Rose Haven, Md. The move should not add any significant driving distance for any of our previous customers as this marina is only a short 3 mile drive from the Rod-n-Reel Marina. The marina is located just 3 miles north of Fishing Creek and the Wound Tight will be within close proximity to all the hot fishing spots.

 The Wound Tight will return to Wachapreaque, VA in June for the 2009. Atlantic Ocean Fishing Season.

I will start running trips from Capt Zed's Marina the 3rd weekend of June and will book trips through August. If you would like to book an Atlantic Ocean Tuna fishing trip don't wait to reserve your date. For any customers who wish to fish for rockfish in the Chesapeake Bay during this time please contact me for availability.
