WOUND TIGHT
 
 
 If you fished from Chesapeake Beach, Md or Wachapreaque, Va in the late eighties or into the nineties you may remember a boat by the name CRACK OF DAWN. Captained by Billy Gingell the boat earned a reputaion for raising fish both on the Chesapeake Bay and in the Atlantic Ocean. In 2004, Capt Shawn so the oppurtunity to purchase the "CRACK BOAT" and jumped in with both feet. After two years of retro-fit, including new engines, electronics and flybridge, the WOUND TIGHT was born. The WOUND TIGHT continues to ply the waters of the Chesapeake Bay and Atlantic Ocean, holding true to a long lasting reputation.

The WOUND TIGHT is a 40 foot Morgan. Power is provided by a pair
of 320 HP Caterpillar turbo diesel engines, which give her a easy 20 knot
cruise to her fishing grounds. Our boat has all the latest in electronics,
including 36 mile radar, vhf radio, CB radio , GPS, color fish finder.
